Wells Branch Elementary has a thriving vegetable garden used by different grade levels throughout the week. The garden was built with help from the PTA Green Team and the community. Community volunteers and parents help teach lessons in the garden, and teachers also use the garden as an outdoor classroom. Students harvest and sell garden produce at a weekly farmers' market, which helps to fund the supplies and materials necessary to sustain the garden.
