Barrington Elementary
Students and faculty enjoy observations around the gardens, and walking and jogging along the trails on a daily basis. Students are able to relax and unwind in these areas, as well as exercise. Students spend time outside on the trails and around the school habitat areas on a daily basis thoroughly enjoying the natural elements that are around the trails like the limestone benches/blocks, the plants, trees and the tree stumps.
"I absolutely love having our garden at our school because students are able to be very engaged in their learning with hands on experiences. We have done plant installations, garden and weather observations as well as, plant and pollinator research. We have even taken part in the Symbolic Migration and our students are so excited!"
